Menorca covers just over 700 km2 and has 1,586 archaeological sites. Not all of these can be easily accessed, which is why a selection has been made that best represents and summarises the island’s prehistory, and are accessible to anyone interested in discovering the Talayotic world of Menorca.

Activities to disseminate the heritage of Talayotic Menorca included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Organized by the Associació de Voluntariat de Camins i Jaciments and the Consell Insular de Menorca through the Talayotic Menorca Agency, this event is open to all citizens.

Findings from the fourth excavation and restoration campaign of a late-medieval structure at Torralba d’en Salort unveiled
Excavation work revealed one of the building’s interior spaces, where archaeologists documented a well-preserved stone pavement, a long bench built against the wall, and a monumental sandstone corner suggesting the existence of an upper floor.

Improvements at the Torre d’en Galmés Interpretation Centre
The Torre d’en Galmés Interpretation Centre has been helping visitors better understand Menorca’s most iconic Talayotic settlement for nearly twenty years. Throughout this time, its contents have been progressively updated and improved.
