“Where the stones rise. The surprising Talayotic culture of Menorca, candidate for World Heritage” is the title of the new course that the UNED will teach on July 4 and 5 in Maó.
 

ICOMOS recommends the inscription of Talayotic Menorca on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The final decision will be made on the 45th World Heritage Committee in September.

This restoration and consolidation project is financed with Next Generation EU Funds, and is intended to improve visitor conditions at this Talayotic site located in Ciutadella.

The show was produced by the Talayotic Menorca Agency and the company iluminaM. This light and music event is another one of the actions carried out by the Department of Cultural Affairs.

The Menorcan candidacy will present various activities between May 19 and 21 in a unique setting to publicize Menorca's prehistoric heritage.

The Talayotic Menorca Agency and the company iluminaM have, together, produced a light and music show that will premiere on April 15 at the Montefí site, in Ciutadella. There will be two screenings: 9 pm and 9:45 pm.

The Talayotic Menorca Agency and Radio Menorca-SER have produced a five chapters series on the candidacy for UNESCO World Heritage that will be available free of charge on different digital platforms.

Photogrammetry studies completed of five prehistoric monuments and the drill hall of Santa Águeda Castle as part of the recovery, transformation and resilience plan financed with Next Generation EU Funds.

The first visit will be to the Talayotic site of Torretrencada on February 12, in Ciutadella, and will have simultaneous translation in sign language thanks to the collaboration of ASSORME.

The Consell Insular de Menorca publishes the edict with the names of the candidates who have applied to fill the position. 

In this meeting it will be decided if Talayotic Menorca is finally appointed as a World Heritage Site.

The meeting could take place from September 10 to 25 in Riyadh. The Committee will decide about this offer on January 24.
