In accordance with Article 14.1 of the Statutes of the Talayotic Menorca Agency, in the event of a vacancy in the management position, the functions of the director are assumed by the Head of the Historical Heritage Service of the Consell Insular de Menorca. In application of this provision, the functions of management have been taken on by the archaeologist from the Heritage Service, who will ensure the continuity and proper functioning of the Agency.
In this way, the Talayotic Menorca Agency continues to carry out its activities with full normality and in total coordination with the Heritage Service of the Consell Insular de Menorca, ensuring the management and implementation of the projects linked to Menorca’s recognition as a World Heritage Site.
In this regard, the Consell Insular de Menorca informs that the selection process to appoint the new director of the Talayotic Menorca Agency has already begun. The position will soon be announced through a public call, as established by the Statutes of the entity.
