This book, published in 2021 by the Institut Menorquí d'Estudis with a foreword by Jordi Faulí, is the imaginary account of the days between May 1910 when the artist Antoni Gaudí came to Menorca to visit some of the islands most emblematic archaeological sites. Gaudí was accompanied by an interesting group of personalities of the time, led by Francisco Hernández Sanz. The portrait of Antoni Gaudí painted by the novel is based on two main pillars: verification that Talayotic Menorcan culture inspired the architect and observence of curious parallels with Menorcan reality more than a century later. For example, the economic boom and social inequalities, political confusion and the Catalan conflict, the intense debate on the islands essential infrastructures or the banking crisis.
